Do you have a tangible idea for starting an innovative business in a developing country? The Private Sector Investment Programme (PSI), a subsidy programme of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has opened it’s first tender for 2011 to promote innovative investments in emerging markets. The programme provides a subsidy up to 60% of capital costs in projects with budgets ranging from EUR 300,000 up to EUR 1.5m. A PSI project is implemented in partnership of a Dutch or foreign company together with a local partner in one of the many eligible developing countries TBN is already involved with, including Kenya, Uganda and Zambia.
