This article from the Social Enterprise Network (Guardian.co.uk) talks about potential pitfalls when exiting a social venture and looks at the ‘social license’ solution used by the White Dog Cafe chain in the US.

At the Members’ Day Conference, 2010, Chris Egitto spoke about the social entreprise Hagar, a contract catering business, and touched on the difficulty in exiting social ventures and the low rate at which entrepreneurs succeed in doing so.
