  • Saturday, 3 September 2011

The 2011 “Harnessing the Power of Business for Development Impact” Event Series, supported by a number of organisations including DFID, will continue to deepen our understanding of the role business can play in supporting Africa’s development, and how it can best fulfil its potential.

The events will be held at the Shell Centre, London, and will focus on two major themes: business drivers for growth and inclusive business partnerships.

At the first event on 5 July Gavin McGillivray of DFID  set out the focus of their Private Sector Department. The next event will be in September and will focus on how businesses and development agencies can work to together to create innovative approaches to SME and start-up funding.

For details on the individual events’ focus and to book go to the event page on the Business Fights Poverty website.
